Glass introduction

  Textured PV glass (textured photovoltaic glass) is a core component of solar modules, solar heater collector and also from greenhouse with 4mm commonly,  specially processed to optimize light utilization and enhance photovoltaic conversion efficiency. Different from flat PV glass, its surface is treated with texturing technology to form regular or irregular microstructures (such as pyramids, prisms, or matte textures), which fundamentally solves the problem of high light reflection loss of flat glass and significantly improves the overall performance of solar modules, solar heater and greenhouse fro vegetable.

3. Improved Self-Cleaning Potential: The uneven textured surface reduces the adhesion of dust, rainwater, and other pollutants. When combined with nano-self-cleaning coatings, it can further reduce manual cleaning costs and maintain stable power generation efficiency.

4. Complementary with Coating Technology: Textured PV glass is often combined with anti-reflective (AR) coatings. The textured surface increases the contact area of the coating, further reducing reflection loss—ultra-white textured PV glass with AR coating can achieve a light transmittance of over 94% in the 380-1100nm wavelength range (the key band for photovoltaic conversion).
