Insulating glass is composed of two or more layers of glass sealed with a hollow aluminum spacer and desiccant, forming a sealed air cavity between the glass panes. It features excellent thermal insulation, sound insulation, energy saving, and anti‑condensation performance.
With high structural strength and good stability, insulating glass effectively reduces heat transfer, blocks outdoor noise, and prevents condensation in low-temperature environments. It is widely used in residential buildings, commercial buildings, curtain walls, windows and doors, and industrial projects.
Our insulating glass complies with international quality standards, providing reliable safety, long service life, and excellent weather resistance. It is an ideal energy-saving building material for modern construction.
Standard Construction
Glass: 2 panes (3-12mm each)
Spacer: Aluminum/Stainless Steel (6-20mm width)
Sealants: Primary (PIB) + Secondary (Silicone/Polysulfide)
Gas Fill: Argon (90%), Krypton (high-performance), or Air
Advanced Configurations
Triple Glazing: 3 panes + 2 cavities (U-value down to 0.4 W/m²K)
Asymmetrical: Different thicknesses (e.g., 6mm outer + 8mm inner)
Hybrid Units: Combined with Low-E coatings or laminated layers
Center-of-glass values for 4-12-4 configuration
Sound Transmission Class (STC)
4mm/12mm Air/4mm: STC 32
6mm/16mm Argon/6mm: STC 36
Laminated Variant: STC 42+
Frequency-Specific Attenuation
500Hz: 25-35dB reduction
1000Hz: 30-40dB reduction
2000Hz: 35-45dB reduction
Quality Control
Moisture vapor transmission <0.05g/m²/day
Gas retention >90% after 15 years
Sealant adhesion >0.5N/mm²
